लिया है मैंने जो वचन मैं उसको पूरा करने के लिए जान भी दूंगा।।
यह धरती मेरी माँ है मुझे इसका क़र्ज़ चुकाना है।।
माँ-बाप भाई-बहन सब छोड़ दिया मैंने
क्योंकि मेरा तो सब कुछ ये धरती माँ है।।।
यह देश है मेरा इसका शीष झुकने नहीं दूंगा।।
मैं भूला नहीं उन्हें जिन्होंने मेरे देश की आज़ादी के लिए जान दे दी।।।
मुझे उनका भी क़र्ज़ चुकाना है।।।
यह देश है मेरा इसका शीष झुकने नहीं दूंगा।।
मेरा सिर्फ एक ही सपना है दुनिया में नंबर एक पर देश हो अपना ।।।
तुम भी देना मेरा साथ मेरे भाइयों मैं करूंगा तुम्हारी रक्षा।।
बस तुम पढ़-लिख कर देश का नाम रोशन करना ।।।।
मैं करूंगा बॉर्डर पर देश की रक्षा।।
यह देश है मेरा इसका शीष झुकने नहीं दूंगा ||
तुम नहाना गरम पानी से मैं बर्फ़ में नहा लूंगा ||
तुम सुबह-शाम खाना खाना ||
मैं दो दिन में एक बार खाना खा कर काम चला लूंगा ।।।
तुम शांति से सो जाना मैं तुम्हारी बॉर्डर पर रक्षा करूंगा||

Ek veer ki dastaan sunata hoon main (Let me tell you the story of a brave soldier)
Kya kehta hai wo (What does he say)
Yeh desh hai mera iska sheesh jhukne nahi dunga (It is my country and I will not let its honour be destroyed)
Liya hai maine vachan main usko pura karne ke liye jaan bhi dunga (I have taken a pledge and I shall sacrifice my life to honour it)
Yeh dharti meri maa hai mujhe iska karz chukana hai (It is my motherland and I need to pay back its debt on me)
Ma-baap bhai-behan sab chod diya maine (I left my mother-father brother-sister, all of them)
Kyonki mera to sab kuch ye dharti ma hai (Because my motherland is my everything)
Yeh desh hai mera iska sheesh jhukne nahi dunga (It is my country and I will not let its honour be destroyed)
Main bhula nahi unhein jinhone mere desh ki azadi ke liye jaan di thi (I have not forgotten all those who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of my country)
Mujhe unka bhi karz chukana hai (I need to pay back their debt too)

Mera sirf ek hi sapna hai duniya mein number ek par desh ho apna (I have only one dream of seeing my country on topmost position in the world)
Tum bhi dena mera sath mere bhaiyo main karunga tumhari raksha (You also cooperate with me my countrymen, I shall also protect you)
Bas tum padh likh kar desh ka naam roshan karna (You just study well and make our country proud)
Main karunga border par desh ki raksha (I shall protect our country on the border)
Yeh desh hai mera iska sheesh jhukne nahi dunga (It is my country and I will not let its honour be destroyed)
Tum nahana garam pani se main barf mein naha lunga (You take bath in warm water and I shall take bath in ice)
Tum subah-sham khana khana (You have meals twice a day – morning and evening)
Main do din mein ek bar khana kha kar kam chala lunga (I shall survive by eating once in two days)
Tum shanti se so jana main tumhari border par raksha karunga (You sleep peacefully and I shall protect you on the border)
