कपटी दान की दुर्गति
तुलसी दान जो देत है जल में हाथ उठाई |
प्रतिग्राही जीवै नहीं दाता नरकै जाई |
संत तुलसीदासजी कहते हैं – जो लोग जल में हाथ उठा के दान (चारा) मछलियों को फ़साने की मंशा से देते हैं, उस दान को ग्रहण करने वाली मछली तो जीती नहीं और वह दाता भी नरक में जाता है |
Tulsi daan jo det hai jal mein hath uthai.
Pratigrahi jevai nahin daata narkai jayi.
Saint Tulsidas Ji says- the people who raise their hands to donate food (offer bait) to the fish with the intention of trapping it, the fish feeding on such donation does not live and such a donor also goes to hell.
