चलो फिर से बच्चे बन जाते हैं चलो फिर से बच्चे बन जाते हैं लौट कर फिर एक बार स्कूल चले जाते हैं .. बाज़ार के खिलौनों को चलो अपना बनाते हैं .. छोटे से मोहल्ले में फिर से दौड़ लगाते हैं .. चलो फिर से बच्चे बन जाते हैं । स्कूल की प्रेयर में आंखे खोल मुस्कुराते हैं .. दोस्तों के साथ लुका-छिपी खेलने जाते हैं .. साइकिल के पहिए फिर से घुमाते हैं .. चलो फिर से बच्चे बन जाते हैं । होम-वर्क की डांट से बचने के बहाने बनाते हैं .. “उसने ये किया उसने वो लिया” जैसी चुगली करने जाते हैं .. शैतानी करके प्यारी सी मुस्कान से सबके दिल पिघलाते हैं .. चलो फिर से बच्चे बन जाते हैं । पापा की छड़ी से बचने को मम्मी की गोदी में छिप जाते हैं .. बड़ी बहन की नींद बिगाड़ कर फिर से सताते हैं.. घर आए मेहमान को अपनी कविता सुनाते हैं.. चलो फिर से बच्चे बन जाते हैं। अब तो बाहर का खाने को मजबूर हो जाते हैं .. माँ के हाथ से बने हुए टिफिन को हम अब भी ना भूल पाते हैं, “माँ तेरी हर एक फिक्र, तेरा ज़िक्र खुदको हर पल कराते हैं” ले चलो कोई मुझे उस डगर, जहां हम वापस बच्चे बन जाते हैं ।। क्यों हम बड़े होकर अपने ही बड़ों पर चिल्लाने लग जाते हैं ?? किसी की छोटी सी गलती पर उनसे रिश्ते तोड़ आते हैं .. थोड़ा सा बड़ा क्या हो गए, खुद को ज़यादा ही बड़ा समझने लग जाते हैं ।। ना जाने क्यों हम चाहते हुए भी फिर से बच्चे नहीं बन पाते हैं ..। अब कड़वी लगे ऐसी बात.. बड़े होते-होते हम सच्चाई की राह से भटकने लग जाते हैं .. छोटी-छोटी बात पे झूठ के सहारे आगे बढ़ जाते हैं .. मुश्किल चाहे कोई भी हो उसे बड़ा समझ गलती कर जाते हैं .. ऐटिट्यूड और ईगो के चक्कर में अकेले ही अनजान राह पर भटक जाते हैं । शायद इसी लिए हम फिर से बच्चे नहीं बन पाते हैं ।। -अनिकेत मिस्त्री

भावार्थ: इस पद में संत कबीर दास का कहना है कि सत्य के बराबर कोई तपस्या नहीं है एवं झूठ के बराबर कोई पाप नहीं हो सकता। जिस जीवात्मा के ह्रदय यानि अंतःकरण में सत्य होता है, उसके ह्रदय में ईश्वर स्वयं वास करते हैं। ईश्वर सत्य स्वरुप हैं और शुद्ध अंतःकरण उनको अति प्रिय है।
Saach barabar tap nahin, jhooth barabar paap.
Jaake hirde saach hai, taake hirde aap.
Meaning: There is no sacrifice bigger than truth, and no crime bigger than lie. God resides in hearts of those who speak truth/follow the path of truth (bhakti).
साँच बिना सुमिरन नहीं, भय बिन भक्ति न होय। पारस में पड़दा रहै, कंचन किहि विधि होय॥
भावार्थ: बिना सत्य के ईश्वर का स्मरण नहीं किया जा सकता और बिना भय के भक्ति नहीं हो सकती। ईश्वर की भक्ति में मन का लगाना अत्यंत अनिवार्य है, केवल इन्द्रियों के द्वारा की गयी भक्ति काम नहीं देती। सही-सही भक्ति करने के लिए मृत्यु का भय होना भी आवश्यक है क्योंकि कल का कोई भरोसा नहीं, मानव देह क्षणभंगुर है। जिस तरह अगर लोहे में खोट हो तो पारस उसको सोना नहीं बना सकता, उसी प्रकार जब तक आपका अंतःकरण शुद्ध नहीं होगा, ईश्वर की प्राप्ति कैसे होगी क्योंकि ईश्वर केवल शुद्ध ह्रदय होने पर प्राप्त होते हैं।
Saach bina sumiran nahin,bhay bin bhakti na hoye.
Paras mein padda rahe, kanchan kahi vidhi hoye.
Meaning: Without a pure heart, one cannot remember God. Without fear (of death and realizing that human life is transient), one cannot remember God. Just like how an impure iron cannot be converted into gold by touchstone (Paras), one cannot attain God with an impure heart.
साँचे को साँचा मिलै, अधिका बढ़े सनेह॥ झूँठे को साँचा मिलै, तब ही टूटे नेह॥
भावार्थ: जब सत्य को सत्य मिल जाता है, तो प्रेम बढ़ता है। यानि जिन लोगों को ईश्वर रुपी सत्य की भूख होती है और उनको कोई सच्चा गुरु (जिसने ईश्वर दर्शन किये हों) मिल जाता है, तब उनका ईश्वर की ओर भक्ति (प्रेम) बढ़ती है। कबीर दास जी यह भी कहते हैं कि झूठे एवं गलत मार्ग पर चल रहे मनुष्यों को जब कोई सत्य संत मिल जाता है, तभी उनका संसारी माया में मोह छूटता है और वह ईश्वर की ओर चलने लगते हैं। केवल सत्य संत का सत्संग करके ही संसार का वास्तविक स्वरुप किसी मनुष्य को समझ आ सकता है।
Saache ko saancha mile, adhika badhe sneh.
Jhoothe ko saancha mile, tab hi toote neh.
Meaning: When one pure soul meets a pure God realized saint, his love for God increases. When a man engrosses in false desires of world meets a true saint, he realizes his faults and his attachment with the materialistic world breaks.
सहब के दरबार में साँचे को सिर पाव। झूठ तमाचा खायेगा, रंक्क होय या राव।
भावार्थ: ईश्वर के दरबार में सच्चा भक्त भगवन से भी बड़ा माना जाता है, इतना बड़ा की ईश्वर अपने भक्तों की चरण धूलि चाहते हैं। कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि ईश्वरीय जगत में झूठ नहीं चल सकता। अगर कोई भी झूठ या छल का सहारा लेकर ईश्वर को प्रसन्न करने की सोच रखता है, तो उसको निराशा ही हाथ लगेगी, चाहे वो संसार का कितना ही बड़ा व्यक्ति हो।
Sehab ke darbaar mein saanche ko sir paav.
Jhooth tamacha khayega, rank hoye ya raav.
Meaning: In the kingdom of God, the truthful devotees are highly respected and loved so much that God keeps His head on their feet. Anybody who is faking devotion will never attain anything, be it a person of any post or honour.
झूठी बात न बोलिये, जब लग पार बसाय। कहो कबीरा साँच गहु, आवागमन नसाय॥
भावार्थ: संत कबीर सब मनुष्यों को सत्य बोलने का उपदेश दे रहे हैं। कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि सत्य मार्ग यानि ईश्वर की ओर चलने पर मनुष्य का अवा-गमन से छुटकारा हो जाता है यानि उसको सदा के लिए ईश्वर का लोक मिल जाता है और फिर उसको संसार में जनम और मृत्यु के चक्रव्यूह से नहीं जूझना पड़ता।
Jhoothi baat na boliye, jab lag paar basaye.
Kaho Kabira saanch gahu, aawagaman nasaya.
Meaning: If you wish to free yourself from the circle of life and death, please do not engross yourself in the pleasures of the materialistic world (these are fake pleasures). Kabir says that only if you follow the path of attaining God and attain Him, you shall free yourself from this cycle of birth and death.
जाकी साँची सुरति है, ताका साँचा खेल। आठ पहर चोंसठ घड़ी, हे साँई सो मेल॥
भावार्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि वह सत्य संत जिन्होंने ईश्वर को प्राप्त कर लिया है (मीरा, तुलसीदास आदि), उनको आठों पहर (२४ घंटे, १ पहर = ३ घंटे) और ६४ घड़ी ईश्वर से मिलन रहता है यानि ईश्वर के दर्शन सदा होते रहते हैं।
Jaaki saanchi surati hai, taka saancha khel.
Ath pehar chausath ghadi, hai Saayi ho mel.
Meaning: Those who have a pure heart (God realized saints like Kabir, Tulsidas, Meera Bai) are enjoying God (divine love) twenty four hours a day i.e. every moment they are engrossed in God.
कबीर लज्जा लोक की, बोले नाहीं साँच। जानि बूझ कंचन तजै, क्यों तू पकड़े काँच॥
भावार्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं की लोक लज्जा के कारण लोग सच नहीं बोलते यानि ईश्वर की ओर नहीं चलते। कबीर कहते हैं कि हे मनुष्यों तुम जान बुझ कर ईश्वर रुपी कंचन को त्याग कर संसार रुपी कांच को महत्त्व देते हो। संसार का सुख बहुत बड़ा धोखा है एवं वास्तविक सुख केवल ईश्वर भक्ति में ही मिलेगा।
Kabir lajja lok ki, bole naahi saanch.
Jaani bujhi kanchan taje, kyo tu pakde kaanch.
Meaning: Many humans do not follow the path of God due to fear of social stigma (what will others say). Kabir says he fails to understand why people leave gold like God for glass like materialistic world.
सच सुनिये सच बोलिये, सच की करिये आस। सत्य नाम का जप करो, जग से रहो उदास॥
भावार्थ: कबीर का कहना है कि सत्य वाणी (ईश्वर सम्बंधित बातें – नाम, रूप, लीला, गुण, धाम) ही सुननी एवं बोलनी चाहियें और सत्य की यानि ईश्वर की ही आस करनी चाहिए। सत्य नाम, यानि ईश्वर के नाम (राम, श्याम आदि) का जप करो और जग से सदा उदासीन रहो यानि जग में आसक्ति न रखो।
Sach suniye sach boliye, sach ki kariye aas.
Satya naam ka jap karo, jag se raho udaas.
Meaning: Kabir Das Saint says that one should engross himself or herself in God related subjects by actively listening to God related speeches and speaking about God. One should always keep remembering God and should stay away from materialistic pleasures and desires.
साँच शब्द हिरदै गहा, अलख पुरुष भरपुर। प्रेम प्रीति का चोलना, पहरै दास हजूर॥
भावार्थ: ईश्वर रूपी सत्य जिसके ह्रदय में वास करता है, वह जीव सदा भरपूर यानि आनंद में संपूर्ण रहता है। जो लोग भक्ति रूपी प्रेम पथ पर चलना चाहते हैं, उनको खुदको ईश्वर का दास मानकर भक्ति करनी होगी। दास भाव भक्ति का सबसे निम्न भाव है। इसीलिए संत कबीर भी अपने नाम के आगे दास लिखते हैं। दस यानि ईश्वर के नित्य सेवक।
Saanch shabd hirde gaha, alakh purush bharpoor.
Prem preeti ka cholna, pahre das huzoor.
Meaning: Those who have attained God have attained the supreme bliss and they are complete in themselves. In the path of devotion, the emotion of being God’s servant is the first step. That’s why Saint Kabir adds the word Das (meaning servant) after his name.
भावार्थ: ईश्वर यानि साँई को मन की सच्ची भक्ति प्रिय है। बहिरंग भक्ति जिसमें बाल लम्बे करलो और मन में ईश्वर के प्रति भाव न हो, व्यर्थ है। यदि कोई बाल मुंडवा के भी ईश्वर की भक्ति मन से करता है, तो वह भक्ति सार्थक है।
Saayi so sacha raho, Saayi saanch suhaye.
Bhavai lambe kes rakh, bhave mood mudhaye.
Meaning: One should remain truthful towards God, God loves souls who are honest. It does not matter if you have long hair or are clean shaved, devotion from heart done truthfully shall only count.
